1794 S-28 R2 ANACS graded VF20. Sharpness VF20, perhaps a bit better on the obverse, but covered with microscopic granularity under the slightly glossy dark olive brown patina. The highpoints are smooth and toned a slightly lighter shade of chocolate brown. No notable marks, just a dusting of crud in protected areas. The date and legends are complete and clear. Our grade is net VG10. The ANACS slab shows the attribution is the rare S-27 die variety, which is incorrect. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
