Hadrian. Silver Denarius (3.56 g), AD 117-138. Rome, ca. AD 124-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate bust of Hadrian right, slight drapery on far shoulder. Reverse: COS III, Genius standing facing, head left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar, and holding cornucopiae. RIC 173; BMC 396; RSC 335. Nice old cabinet tone with light iridescence and underlying luster. NGC grade Ch AU; Strike: 5/5, Surface: 5/5. Fine style. Estimate Value $800 - 900
