1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny Nelson-9 Rarity-3 PCGS graded AU53, CAC Approved. Very attractive glossy light to medium chocolate brown and steel. Frost shows in protected areas and this piece is very nice for the grade. The only marks are a tiny rim bruise under the shoulder and a larger one at the top of the staff on the reverse. Die clashmarks are present on the obverse and the reverse shows some fine die rust and a couple die cracks. A very nice example of the type and the so-called "Stern Head" variety. Listed on page 51 in the "Redbook." Estimate Value $600 - UP
