1829 N-1 R3 Large Letters PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous steel brown and chocolate. Sharply struck and very attractive. No spots or stains, only a few trivial contact marks. A tiny horizontal nick or planchet flake right of the eye and collection of very light vertical ticks on the truncation over the 8 can help identify this cent. MDS with a fine die crack from the dentils over the M through the tops of the adjacent E & R in AMERICA. Our grade is MS60. Noyes says MS60 and tied for CC#3, his photo #29555. The attribution and Koshkarian provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; tied for finest of the variety at both services. Estimate Value $3,750 - UP
