1813 S-292 R2 PCGS graded AU53. Glossy dark steel brown and chocolate. Flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. No spots, stains, or roughness. The only defects are a few microscopic contact marks, including some very faint hairlines around the bust and three barely visible pinpricks at the curl over the 3. LDS, Breen state IV, with strong die flowlines on both sides and the tops of TES OF starting to connect to the rim above. Our grade is EF45. Noyes says AU50 net EF45 and tied for CC#10, his photo #35954. The attribution and Koshkarian provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 7 finer, 3 in 58, 2 in 62, 2 in 63 for the variety. Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
