1787 Connecticut Draped Bust Left Miller 43.1-Y R2 PCGS graded VF25. Variety with CONNFC instead of CONNEC. Slightly glossy medium brown and light chocolate blending to darker olive brown in protected areas. The surfaces are mostly smooth but you can find traces of microscopic granularity in the fields and protected areas. No verdigris and the only notable mark is a faint planchet fissure slanting through the E in INDE. The date and legends are complete and strong. Nice for the grade, and the CONNFC error is obvious. Listed as a separate type on page 64 in the "Redbook." The CONNFC error is noted on the PCGS label. Estimate Value $150 - UP
