1857 N-4 R1 Small Date PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate with frosty lighter steel brown in the protected areas. Looks mint state but there is a trace of friction on the highpoints. The only marks are a nick on the rim at star 1, a few weak dentils over star 4 thanks to an incomplete planchet, and a planchet flake over the right top of the first T in STATES. LDS, die state c. The die clashmarks and the point down from the inner hair bun are gone. A nice example of this popular date. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Tucker provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
