1796 S-90 R5+ Liberty Cap VG7. A few points sharper but covered with uniform extremely faint granularity under slightly glossy reddish steel brown and chocolate toning. The notable marks are a few smoothed rim nicks at the top of the obverse and several planchet chips at the U in UNITED (as struck). The date is strong and the legends are clear except for some weakness on STATES OF. Struck with the reverse nearly upset with a 160 degree CCW rotation from the normal head-to-foot orientation.
