1803 S-265 R4 Large Date and Fraction F15. Sharpness VF30 but covered with very fine roughness, mostly on the reverse. There are traces of microscopic verdigris on the reverse but no notable marks. The naked-eye appeal of this cent is nice in spite of the imperfect surfaces. Rather glossy medium steel and olive brown. E-MDS, Breen state IV, with fine die cracks on both sides. A decent example of the Large Date and Fraction variety. Estimated Value $400-UP
