1806 C-4 R1 Large Repunched 6 with Stems AU50. Sharpness very near mint state but there are a few faint hairline scratches very well hidden in the hair on the head and a dull rim nick over the left side of the U in UNITED. Lustrous golden tan and light olive with a couple tiny peeps of faded mint red on the reverse. MDS, Manley state 1.0 late or 2.0 early. The repunching on the 6 is still visible and the reverse is rotated 25 degrees clockwise. The bust tip and opposing leaves at the top of the wreath are softly struck, which is typical for this variety. Estimated Value $350-UP
