1804 C-13 R1 Plain 4 with Stemless Wreath NGC graded AU50. Glossy chocolate brown and steel with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. No roughness, only light contact marks. The only defects are a dusting of fine carbon on the rim over TY in LIBERTY and a shallow planchet lamination (as struck) just right of the F in OF. M-LDS, Manley state 2.0 late. Al the dentils are gone on the obverse and only half of them remain visible on the reverse. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees clockwise relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation. Our grade is VF35. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Estimated Value $300-UP
