1804 C-9 R2 EF40. Attractive glossy tan and steel brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints and mint luster in protected areas. Sharper by at least 5 points but there are some tiny nicks scattered over the obverse, none notable but too many to ignore. A small spot of darker toning at the base of the Y in LIBERTY is a good identifying mark. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with very fine die cracks at IBERTY. Removed from an ANACS slab graded AU55 (ANACS label #1249556 included). Estimated Value $500-UP
