Lot 404
Pair of 1788 Massachusetts Half Cents graded VG8. Both are the Ryder 1-B variety. One is from the early die state, the other from a late die state. Both are significantly sharper but lightly corroded and burnished so the devices are shiny copper while the fields and protected areas are dark olive brown. The date and legends on both are complete and clear. Listed on page 59 in the "Redbook." Lot of 2 coins. Estimated Value $100-UP
