1779 Rhode Island Token Breen-1139, Whitman-1730 NGC XF Details, Bent, Environme. Slightly glossy light chocolate and golden brown mixed with darker olive brown. Fine granularity and shallow black crust show in the fields and protected areas, but overall the eye appeal is rather decent. The "Bent' mentioned by NGC is extremely subtle, virtually undetectable in the slab. The date and legends are complete and clear. Variety struck in brass with VLUETENDE removed.
