Celtic. Eastern Europe, Imitating Thasos. Silver Tetradrachm (16.64 g), late 2nd. Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos right. Reverse: HPAKΛEOYΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ ΘAΣIΩN, Herakles standing facing, head left, holding grounded club, lion's skin draped over arm; in inner left field, MH monogram. Kostial 967 (same obv. die); cf. OTA class II, 4-5 (same obv. die); Lukanc pl. 75, 814 (same obv. die); CCCBM I 220. Excellent metal with underlying luster present. Superb Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $500 - 700
