A pair of 1898 Spanish American War Medals. Copper, 25 mm. Consists of: Major General Fitzhugh Lee Medal, NGC MS-63 BN; Our Nation's Defenders Medal, NGC MS-66 BN PL, holed at 12:00 as made. Both medals have prooflike surfaces. The NGC tags were definitely misplaced for both medals. The cataloger's best guess will be that each medal bears the NGC tag of the other's, and this was probably caused by mistakes during the labeling process of the grading service. There's no way we could figure out if the assigned grades are correct. Lot of 2 coins. Estimated Value $100-UP
