Lot 271

1809 S-280 R2 NGC graded AU55. Frosty dark steel brown and chocolate. The reverse is lustrous but the luster on the obverse is a bit subdued due to a thin layer of natural oxidation. The surfaces are smooth and choice except for a very faint hairline scratch on the cheek and some extremely faint roughness at stars 5-7. MDS, Breen state VI, with die cracks at the top of the wreath. Our grade is AU50 sharpness net EF40. Estimated Value $3,000-UP
