Sicily, Syracuse. Agathokles. Silver Tetradrachm (16.93 g), 317-289 BC EF. Ca. 310/08-306/5 BC. KOPAΣ, wreathed head of Kore right, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace. Reverse: [AΓA]ΘOKΛE[OΣ] in exergue, Nike standing right, and erecting trophy; to left, AN or AV monogram; to right, triskeles. Ierardi 103 (O21/R64); BMFA 463 = Warren 406 (same dies). Excellent metal of fine style and nicely toned. Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $2,500 - 3,000
