1854 N-1 R3 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous light bluish steel brown and olive with traces of faded mint red remaining visible on both sides. The only defects are a shallow low spot on the neck (which is quite common on this variety), another low spot on the nose in front of the eye, and a spot of very fine carbon on the upper half of the N in ONE. LDS, die state c. Fine flowlines extend from the bases of the 1 & 4 to the dentils below. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#6 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2, none finer at PCGS.
