Lot 830

1850 N-14 R4 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Very attractive frosty medium brown and light chocolate. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas on both sides and the eye appeal is excellent. No spots or stains. The only mark is a light diagonal nick in the field off the end of the nose. Rare LDS, die state d, with a clearly defined rim cud break at D-ST. Our grade is AU55, just a hint of rub on the highest points of the portrait from mint state. Second finest known example of this very rare die state. Pop 1; 1 finer in 65+ at PCGS for the variety .
Estimated Value $750-UP.

Realized $564
