1848 N-29 R3 PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Frosty medium steel brown and light chocolate. A choice cent, virtually flawless. The only marks, and they are microscopic, are a tiny nick on the center of the eyebrow and another tiny tick in the center of the upright of the E in CENT. MDS, die state b, with a small but clearly defined rim cud break over star 8 but before the stronger rim cuds on the reverse. Our grade is AU55, tied for CC#12 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 3 finer: 2 in 64, 1 in 64+.
