Pair of Half Cents, 1825 & 1826. Includes 1825 C-1 R3 E-MDS M1.0 late (the die crack from the top of the obverse reaches down through the ear but the small lump right of the F in OF has not formed) VF25+, and 1826 C-1 R1 LDS M4.0 with the reverse rotated 20 degrees clockwise EF40 (removed from a PCGS slab graded XF45, label #1144.45/24855256 included). Both are glossy brown and chocolate with excellent eye appeal. Lot of 2 coins.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
The 1825 is ex M&G Auctions/Goldbergs 2/3/2013:169 and the 1826 was lot 171 in the same auction (both lot tickets included) Ex Walter Scheer Collection.
