1795 Washington Liberty & Security Halfpenny with Birmingham Edge Breen-1261 AU55. Glossy olive brown and steel with traces of faded mint red on both sides. The only defct is a thin planchet void left of the shoulder, as struck. A nice example of the rare Birmingham edge variety. Removed from a PCGS slab graded AU55 (PCGS label #758.55/26446327 included). Listed on page 84 in the "Redbook."
