1787 New Jersey Maris 43-d R1 VG10. Double Struck Off Center. Rather glossy light chocolate brown and steel. No roughness, verdigris, or notable marks. Double struck about 5-10% off center to K-4.5 creating an uneven strike that left the date unreadable. The shift between impressions was about half a millimeter but the doubling is visible on both sides. Weight 135.2 grains.
