Judaea City Coinage. Samaria, Neapolis. Elagabalus. Æ 23 (8.63 g), 218-222 CE. AVT K M AVP ANTWN[INOC], laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus right. Reverse: ΦΛ NEACΠO [ACΠ CVP Π]AΛ, Tyche standing facing, head left, holding rudder and cornucopiae. Meshorer, City-Coins -; Rosenberger 53; SNG ANS 1007. Striking flaw on the right portion of the obverse and corresponding area of the reverse. Also noted a flan flaw on the reverse at 11 o'clock. Fine green patina. Choice Very Fine.
