1902, $5 National Bank Note. The First NB, Toms River, NJ. Ch. #2509. PCGS Very Fine 20PPQ. Fr-607. KL-1164. This is a bright example from a popularly collected New Jersey location, with completely original paper quality and no flaws other than the slightly askew bottom margin which was cut into the design at the time of issue. Most small town banks simply cut the notes by hand from the sheets that they were provided as they were needed, and some bank tellers or cashiers were less careful than others.
