1862. NGC graded MS-65. Nicely toned. A few deeper areas, but most of the surfaces are bright and fresh. The strike is bold and the surfaces are quite well preserved for a coin that was struck soon after the outbreak of the Civil War. Housed in an Old Style Holder. Pop 188; 45 finer, 2 in 65+, 36 in 66, 1 in 66+, 6 in 67.
