1859. NGC graded MS-65. Well struck and nicely toned. This is a one year type coin because the design was changed in 1860 to modify the wreath and add a small shield at the top. These first year of issue 1859 cents are scarce in Gem and this one is quite attractive. Housed in an Old Style Holder. Pop 158; 12 finer, 1 in 65+, 10 in 66, 1 in 67.
