Lot 363

1801 S-214 R3 F15. Sharpness VF20 or slightly better but there is a scuff of very light diagonal hairline scratches in the field before the face. None of these marks is visible to the unaided eye and this cent offers excellent eye appeal for the grade. Glossy olive brown and medium chocolate. M-LDS, Breen state II, with a bit of swelling in the field near the dentils over the bust tip. The die cracks on the reverse are clear and both sides show die clashmarks. The date and legends are all strong. Estimate Value $500 - UP
Ex Tom Reynolds-March Wells 1/8/2002-Terry Denman (includes the Denman collection envelope).

Realized $470
