1800/798 NC-6 R6+ Overdate 800 over 798, Style I Hair AG3. Sharpness VG10 or slightly better but the planchet is covered with moderate granularity and there are a half dozen sharp cuts on the obverse. No verdigris or additional defects. The date and legends are complete and clear. Dark steel and olive brown. Certainly not an attractive cent but one of the better detailed examples known of this very rare variety (16 examples known, and most of those are in very low grade). Estimate Value $500 - UP
