1798 S-157 R2 Small 8, Style I Hair VF30. Five points sharper but covered with very faint hairlines that are mostly lost in the attractive glossy brown and light chocolate toning. No corrosion or verdigris, and the only other mark is a rim bruise at TE in UNITED. M-LDS, Breen state II, with obvious die rust in the field around the bust and an irregular nearly horizontal die crack from the rim to the neck. An attractive cent in spite of the faint hairlines, and a neat die state. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
