1798/7 S-150 R5 Overdate 8 over 7 G5. Slightly sharper but there is a dull dent at the bottom of the first A in AMERICA and an old scrape at EN in CENT. The toning is an attractive glossy light chocolate and olive blending to darker chocolate in protected areas. Later die state with obvious swelling at various places on the reverse. The date is bold and the overdate feature is obvious to the unaided eye. Estimate Value $200 - UP
