Lot 337

1797 S-141 R4 F15. At least 5 points sharper but there is a speck of raised corrosion in the drapery folds on the bust and very fine roughness covers the protected areas on both sides. A diagonal nick in the field under the chin is the only contact mark of any significance. Rather glossy medium steel brown and chocolate. EDS, Breen state I, before any die clashmarks or cracks. The date and legends are complete and strong. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP

Realized $1,293
