1795 C-4 R3 Punctuated Date, Plain Edge PCGS graded VF25. Choice glossy light to medium chocolate brown. Essentially flawless except for microscopic contact marks of no significance. The best identifying mark is a tiny tick over the second A in AMERICA, but you will need a glass to see it. The date is bold and the "punctuation" between the 1 and 7 is strong. The legends are fully formed except for the usual weakness on CENT. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0 early. A beautiful half cent that offers great eye appeal. Our grade is VF20 choice. The attribution, "Punctuated Date" feature, and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 4 finer, 1 in 40, 1 in 50, 1 in 55, 1 in 63+ for the variety.
