Lot 650
1853 N-19 R1 Repunched 853 NGC graded AU58. Frosty medium brown and light olive. No defects, just very light friction on the highest points of the devices. LDS, die state c. The repunching on the 8 & 5 is gone but it remains clear on the 3. Struck with the obverse badly misaligned to 9.5, and the "Mint Error" and "Obverse Misaligned Die" features are noted on the NGC label. Our grade is AU50. Estimate Value $100 - UP
