1819/8 N-1 R1 Overdate 9 over 8 PCGS graded AU55. Glossy medium chocolate brown with lighter brown in a few of the protected areas. Frosty luster covers the protected areas on both sides and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. The notable marks are a spot of slightly darker toning in the field off the tip of the nose and a faint spot of slightly lighter reddish brown toning under the first S in STATES. LDS with a series of narrow rim cuds from above star 9 to star 11.5. The overdate feature is clear and the reverse is rotated 25 degrees CCW. Our grade is EF45. The attribution and Koshkarian provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 9 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $600 - UP
