Lot 541

1853 N-15 R2 Repunched 5 PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Glossy medium brown and light olive. Satiny mint frost shows in the fields and protected areas and the eye appeal is excellent. No spots or stains, only minor contact marks visible under magnification. A small diagonal nick under the end of the chin and a very light rim bruise over the second A in AMERICA are the best identifying marks. E-MDS die state b early. The repunching at the left top of the 5 is strong and the fields are just starting to display roughness from flowlines. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Tucker provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 5 finer, 2 in 64, 3 in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $200 - UP
