1849 N-23/13 R3 Repunched 1 & 49 PCGS graded AU55. Slightly frosty medium chocolate brown and steel. Virtually void of marks, the only notable one being a tiny diagonal nick on the bust tip above the 1. LDS, die state d (Newcomb's #13). Most of the earlier die lines have been lapped off the obverse die and there is fine repunching visible at the bottoms of the 1 & 49 in the date. Fresh die polishing lines are visible in the obverse fields, clearest around the date. Our grade is AU50. Estimated Value $450-UP
