1864. Bronze, With "L". PCGS graded MS-66 Red. A wonderful example of this key date. An amazing coin, one of the absolute finest of this date and major variety with "L" on the ribbon and the pointed bust on Liberty. The digits 186 show repunching high which adds further interest. Outstanding Red color, with immediate and full vibrancy on the obverse, and well matched on the reverse. Only a few minor specks are present when examined. The strike is sharp on Liberty's feathers as well as the wreath.
