Shuttle Columbia payload bay lighting and configuration test photos; a comprehensive workbook compiled on 10/19/81. This lighting study was done prior to the first deployment of a a satellite from the shuttle. As each day (night/day) cycle in space is only 90 minutes, proper lighting was critical to insure the successful deployement of satellites.
