While Lousma is known for being on the second manned crew on the Skylab space station in 1973 and commanded STS-3, the third Space Shuttle mission in 1982, he also served as backup Docking Module Pilot for ASTP. An impressive amount of work notebooks, crew training and procedures, most especially The Command Service Module Guidance and Control Checklist manual dated May 17, 1974.
