Three Data Transmission Records From Space Mariner 2 and Apollo Missions. Collection of three data transmissions. First from Mariner 2 when reaching Venus December 14, 1962, a transmission recording segment (1¾ x 8") communicated from the spacecraft to measure radiometric temperature and the Interplanetary Magnetic Field and charged particle environment. Comes with a fact sheet, a commemorative cover and a copy of a photo and letter by the Assistant Lab Director of JPL. Second is a section of the transmission data of the seismographic activity beneath the Moon's surface by equipment left behind on Apollo 14 and Apollo 15 missions known as ALSEP. Printed strips are no longer used so a very nice collectible. Finally from Apollo 13 a photocopy of a photo of the seismic recording of the impact of the Apollo 13 S-IVP/Instrument unit with the lunar surface complete with photocopy of NASA information sheet.
