Apollo 14 Crew Signed Insurance Cover; Cancellation Kennedy Space Center, 1971. Apollo 14 Crew-Signed Insurance Cover. A philatelic cover with the "Apollo 8" 6 cent stamp affixed, bearing a pictorial machine cancellation from Kennedy Space Center dated Febuary 5, 1971, and addressed to tennis great "Pancho" Gonzales. The cachet is the mission insignia with three sets of wings printed beneath- two gold Navy (for Shepard and Mitchell), and one silver Air Force (for Roosa). Each astronaut has signed near his wings: "Al Shepard", "Stuart Roosa", and "Ed Mitchell".
