Over 75 Photographs and Letter To Buzz Aldrin and Reply, Personal Collection of The Flight Director. Two notebooks of over 75 NASA photos 18 in black & white from the personal collection of the Flight Director on many of the missions pictured. Images from the early 60s to the 80s quite a few of these are images we have rarely if ever seen. Great images of Mission Control over the years. Also included is a handprinted letter to Buzz Aldrin from the Flight Director dated 19 January 1971 expressing his sadness of Aldrin leaving the Space Center and the director declaring his assignment as the descent and ascent telcom on Apollo 11 "as the most significant single event in my life". Buzz Aldrin replies in his hand along the bottom "Thanks for all your help, Don". Also the collection contains several certificates awarded to the Flight Director and other interesting pieces.
