Handsome Acrylic Desk Display of Apollo Pieces including Flown Beta Cloth, Kapton Foil and a Fire Brick Segment. "From the Ground Up---To The Moon" Apollo Launch Complex 39 - NASA Kennedy Space Center (1969). Acrylic display 4½ x 5" which includes two flown fragments, one, a segment of a beta cloth patch flown to the Moon aboard Apollo 10 in May 1969 a "dress rehearsal" for the first manned lunar landing. Also included is a segment of Kapton tape flown to the Moon as part of the thermal protection system for the Apollo 11 Command Module (CM-107) mankind's first lunar landing. Finally a segment of Apollo-era refractory fire resistant brick that was part of the Launch Complex 39 flame trench in 1969. Mint condition in original box. Estimate Value $250 - 300
