Gemini 4, Paul Haney Original Handwritten Notes "Voice of Mission Control" for Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. Paul Haney (1929-2009) best known as the voice of NASA's mission control for his live commentary during the Gemini and Apollo space flights in the 1960s. Lot of three different documents including 1) A ten-page legal size lot of first-person notes taken by Haney in Mission Control starting with the beginning of the flight until after the space walk. Interestin comments including: "Trying to stow (the spacesuit?), guess they want to keep it" and, referring to Ed White space walk itself: "No disorientation whatsoever"; 2) a three-page: "Draft Memorandum to Mr. George Lowe from Haney (with pencil corrections) re: "GT-4 extra vehicular activity" and a 12 page group of Flight Plan Updates. There is a manuscript Approved 4/28/65 notation at the upper right and 3) an original tissue copy of the EVA release dated 5/65 and titled: "Early Gemini-4 Activities Detailed" (marked for release 5PM EST). It is extensively notated in ink. Very Scarce: Original source documents are just not available to collectors today. Estimate Value $500 - 800
