Space Journalist Mary E. Bubb Collection of 4 Early Space Artifacts Including Gemini Heat Shield Sample. Mary E. Bubb was an early space journalist and certainly one of the first women reporting stationed at Cape Canaveral, Over the course of her well regarded coverage, she came into possession of many interesting artifacts. Offered here are 4 from her collection 3 with COAs printed on her stationery with business cards. 1.) The best piece is a test flown Titan - Gemini heat shield sample 1½ x 4" which exhibits the extensive damage expected from flight. It cannot be determined from which Gemini spacecraft or mission in the mid-1960s that were being tested on the cylindric portion of the Gemini capsule. 2.) A 3" segment of a Beryllium antennae off an early spacecraft 3.) An RCA multi-layered circuit panel 4 x 4" with note from RCA and finally from General Dynamics a Centaur 2nd stage rocket harmonic drive used for proportional control of liquid-oxygen flow valve with an original two page explanation issued by General Dynamics.
