Superb Collection of 110 Vintage Original and Re-Strike Photos Mostly 1950-1960 of Early Rocketry. An archive of 110 photos from all over the world, most identified and dated on verso and used for a variety of published books and articles by Frederick I. Ordway III and Mitchell R. Scharpe authors specializing in the history of rocketry, aeronautics and space. Some are original, others vintage re-strikes. Most are 8 x 10s and 5 x 7s, with a handful of 4 x 5s. (There are also six color slides) While the bulk of the collection date from the early 50s and 60s there exist some interesting photos decades earlier. A great collection of photos which we heartily recommend viewing in person. Estimate Value $500 - 800
