Two Signed Letters by Werner von Braun in the Mid-1970s to Author Mitchell Sharpe. Two typed letters signed by Werner von Braun on Fairchild Industries stationery while he was Vice-President-Engineering. One dated June 6, 1974 responding to author and historian Mitchell R. Sharpe where he asked von Braun to identify a certain "commission" from June 3, 1945 while he was in Garmisch. (Copy of that commission included) The other typed letter signed is from February 4, 1975 to Sharpe where he compliments him on his book "Tereshkova". The 1974 letter has rust from paperclip but other wise very clean, the other letter, pristine. Estimate Value $700 - 1,000
