Lindbergh, Charles A. - Signed and Dated Cover (1902-74) American aviator who made the first nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic May 20-21, 1927 in a plane called The Spirit of St. Louis. Cover signed and dated "C.A. Lindbergh May 1934" in black ink in the lower left corner. Engraved "Poste Arerien [sic] Special Pour Lindbergh 'Esprit de St. Louis'" with Feb. 7, 1928 Haitian postmarks on the front and Feb. 8 Havana, Cuba postmarks on the back. Light overall toning, else fine. Accompanied by a notice of a reception for Lindbergh on June 11, 1927 by the National Press Club of Washington. Estimate Value $800 - 1,200
